The Chairman of the Presidium of the Kazakhstan-Asia Association for Development of Trade and Culture, Duysen Korabayuly Kaseinov, the Chairman of the Board Kanat Beisek, and the Deputy Chairman of the Board Kanat Mametkazyuly visited the Indian Embassy in Kazakhstan. On the Indian side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Raj Anand, Second Secretary of the Embassy, and Mr. Sanjay Vedi, Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center and First Secretary of the Embassy.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral introductions, strengthening cultural and trade relations, and implementing future joint projects. The representatives of the Indian Embassy warmly welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of friendly relations between the two countries.
"Of course, there are vast opportunities for developing connections between India and Kazakhstan. There are many areas that can still be expanded, and the work of your Kazakhstan-Asia Association for Development of Trade and Culture, which bridges culture and trade, is very interesting to us. That’s why I consider today’s meeting essential for bilateral cooperation," noted Mr. Raj Anand.
In turn, Duysen Korabayuly Kaseinov highlighted the importance of cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and India, recalling his work as Kazakhstan’s former Minister of Culture, where he supported Indian cultural initiatives. "Even before Kazakhstan’s independence, we worked closely with representatives of Indian art and culture, which helped expand cultural ties after gaining sovereignty. Of course, the Ministry continues to carry out many initiatives, but the Kazakhstan-Asia Association for Development of Trade and Culture can make an even more significant contribution to strengthening cultural and trade partnerships between our countries," he said.
Additionally, Kanat Beisek introduced the main activities of the Association and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral partnerships with Asian countries, including India. "Expanding trade and economic cooperation opens new opportunities for entrepreneurs in both countries. Therefore, we want to develop a shared vision for organizing forums, exhibitions, and business meetings," added Mr. Beisek.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize joint events and support specific projects to deepen the partnership further. These initiatives will undoubtedly give a new impetus to cultural and economic relations between Kazakhstan and India.
Considering the deep historical ties between the two countries in culture and trade, this meeting is undoubtedly a significant step towards further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
